About Me
I was raised in Iowa, and even though I have that Midwestern charm and overuse the word "ope," my subtle Iowan accent stays under the radar (just don't ask me to say 'milk'). When I was three years old, I took my first ballet class. I fell so in love with it that I secretly slept in my ballet slippers for a whole year! I've been hooked on the performing arts as a whole ever since, branching out into all different forms of expression.
I received my BFA degree in Acting from Florida State University's prestigious theatre program. My education at FSU transformed me into a quick-thinking, detail-oriented actress. Along with my rigorous academic schedule, I performed in seven mainstage productions. I also worked closely with the FSU's College of Motion Picture Arts where I learned how to work on a professional film set and was featured in over 20 student films. Lastly, I worked with all three on-campus fashion magazines where I began my modeling experience. The most important lesson college taught me, however, was how to be a strong, genuine, driven, and independent woman. I found my value as a human being.
I am currently based in Atlanta, GA. Over the past couple of years, I've played major roles in several film and theatre projects around the Southeast.
In the midst of traveling and auditioning, I am also Assistant Manager at barre3 Buckhead, where I teach fitness classes and mentor trainees. You can also catch me taking dance classes at XCel Studios and Dance 101, acting classes at Drama Inc., and walking my puppy, Olive, in the meantime.
